AGIOS DIMITRIOS
Agios Dimitrios is a wonderful village full of flowers which are in abudance. It is very famous for the fascinating place of Agios Ioannis settled on the east side Pelion. It was a particular naval area in the last century. It was regarded as both a commercial and sailing centre of the district. It was only later when the road was constructed that goods could be transported not only by boat. Thus, this tiny fishing village is now one of our most popular resorts with facilities for all types of guests. It offers excellent services to thousands of tourists every summer. Also the area has a spectacular view of other villages. The traditionally built houses, the colourful churches, the wood carving crafts and the impressive stone built paths make range of entertainment and a selection of traditional tavernas known fot their excellent delicious cuisine and the local wine. Its squares with the traditional water fountains are difficult to forget.
